Introducing Chis Aldred
We're absolutely stoked to announce that Chris Aldred has joined the Epic family as an Epic Brand Ambassador.
Hailing from the United Kingdom, Chris is a highly regarded (and accomplished) casting instructor, fishing guide and all round good bastard.
Chris has attained multiple international fly casting qualifications in both the single and two handed rod - we're very fortunate to have him on the team!

Chris has been an avid angler from an early age.
Since picking up a fly rod 25 years ago, he has fished for all kinds of species in all kinds of waters around the globe – but river fishing remains his true passion.
Chris has been a qualified instructor for many years and holds the Fly Fishers International (FFI) Master Casting Instructor and Two-handed Casting Instructor qualifications. In addition, Chris is also a mentor for the Game Angling Instructors’ Association (GAIA) and holds the advanced qualification (APGAI) in both single and double-handed disciplines, and is also a qualified fly dressing instructor.
Chris can often be seen demonstrating throughout the UK at clubs and shows and has taught many leading instructors on their journey.
A previous pro guide for some of the world’s other leading tackle manufacturers, before finally finding his spiritual home with Swift Flyfishing and Epic rods.
