Attached are some pics of the 11'6" build. The wraps will get a final sanding and Coating this week. The rod has to be finished by next Saturday when my Dad is going to celebrate his 80. birthday. So I am in a hurry!!
Once given it to him I do not know when I will get another chance to take photos of it. So here is the rod nearly finished. Wrapped with Pearsalls dark brown and dark olive to match a golden Hardy Sovereign (or any other classic "golden" reel like Fin Nor, Seamaster, etc.)
